This seminar is about the curriculum for the spiritual upbringing of children in churches, schools, and at home, on April 30 and May 1, 2026, in Dar es Salaam.
Mistakes we make as ministers
1. Not recognizing children as the church – the same mistake that caused the apostles to be rebuked by the Lord Jesus is repeated. They ignored the children and were told, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them.”
2. We do not count children as members of the church – perhaps because they are not able to tithe or contribute financially.
3. Children’s education is not given priority – many churches do not have a budget for children, there are no qualified teachers, and there is no monitoring of what children are being fed when they are taught the word of God.
4. We care about reaching adults at great cost (those who resisted the Gospel when they were young) and forget the generation that the devil is targeting. New age movements are more focused on destroying the new generation.
5. There are no age-specific curricula. Young people are mixed with young children.
6. We do not ask ourselves why, when our children finish Sunday school and depart from their parents, they do not return to church, or they remain in church but are not saved. We have many young people serving in the church without being saved by Jesus. So, soon we will be led by church elders who are not saved.

Karibu Semina ya Wachungaji na Wenzi Wao Jijini Dar
Semina hii inahusu mtaala wa mafunzo ya malezi ya kiroho kwa watoto makanisani, mashuleni na nyumbani tarehe 30 Aprili na 1 Mei 2026 jijini Dar.
Makosa tunayofanya watumishi wengi
1. Kutotambua watoto kama kanisa – kosa lilelile lililosababisha mitume wakakemewa na Bwana Yesu linajirudia. Waliwapuuza watoto wakaambiwa, “Waacheni watoto wadogo waje kwangu wala msiwazuie.”
2. Hatuwahesabu watoto kama washirika wa kanisa – pengine ni kwa vile hawana uwezo wa kutoa mafungu ya kumi au kuchangia kiuchumi.
3. Mafunzo ya watoto hayapewi kipaumbele – makanisa mengi hayana bajeti ya watoto, hakuna walimu wenye upeo, hakuna ufuatiliaji kwamba watoto wanalishwa nini wanapofundishwa neno la Mungu.
4. Tunajali kufikia watu wazima kwa gharama kubwa (walioshindikana) na kusahau kizazi kinacholengwa na shetani. New age movement wanalenga zaidi kuharibu kizazi kipya.
5. Hakuna mitaala inayolenga marika tofauti. Vijana wanachanganywa na watoto wadogo.
6. Hatujiulizi kwanini watoto wetu wakimaliza Sunday school na kutoka mikononi mwa wazazi hawarudi tena kanisani au wanabaki kanisani lakini hawajaokoka. Tuna vijana wengi wanaotumika kanisani bila kuokolewa na Yesu. Hivyo muda si mrefu tutakuwa tunaongozwa na wazee wa kanisa ambao hawajaokoka.
