Spiritual guiding training for children (Mafunzo ya malezi ya watoto kiroho)
All of us as parents, caregivers, and teachers need to know that we have a biblical duty and responsibility to provide spiritual care to children.
I. Qualifications of a Child Teacher – whether a parent or a school teacher
1. Pure Christian testimony
Acts 16:2 “This man was well reported on by the brothers who lived in Lystra and Iconium.”
2. Having the fruit of the Spirit
Gal 5:22,23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”
3. Knowledge of the subject – prepare well and live it
2 Cor 9:3 “But I sent the brothers, so that our boasting about you would not be in vain in this matter; that you might be ready, as I said.”
4. Behavioral skills – understand the changes in children’s behavior
1 Thess 2:11 “just as you know how we warned each one of you, as a father warns his own children, encouraging and testifying.”

Sisi wote, yaani wazazi, walezi na walimu wa watoto, tuna wajibu na jukumu la kibiblia la kutoa huduma kwa watoto.
I. Sifa za Mwalimu wa Watoto – akiwa mzazi au mwalimu wa shule
1. Ushuhuda safi Kikristo
Mdo 16:2 “Mtu huyo alishuhudiwa vema na ndugu waliokaa Listra na Ikonio.”
2. Kuwa na tunda la Roho
Gal 5:22,23 “Lakini tunda la Roho ni upendo, furaha, amani, uvumilivu, utu wema, fadhili, uaminifu, upole, kiasi; juu ya mambo kama hayo hakuna sheria.”
3. Ujuzi wa somo – ajiandae vizuri ili somo liwe sehemu ya maisha yake
2 Kor 9:3 “Lakini naliwatuma hao ndugu, ili kujisifu kwetu kwa ajili yenu kusibatilike katika jambo hili; mpate kuwa tayari, kama nilivyosema.”
4. Ujuzi wa tabia – afahamu mabadiliko ya tabia za watoto
1 The 2:11 “vile vile, kama mjuavyo, jinsi tulivyomwonya kila mmoja wenu kama baba awaonyavyo watoto wake mwenyewe, tukiwatia moyo na kushuhudia.”
