No. 1. The finished work of Christ (Kazi aliyomaliza Kristo msalabani) – Kongamano la Mtandaoni
John 19:30 “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”
“It is finished!” was a cry of triumph and not of defeat, agony or pain. We also need this experience.”
Heb 12:2 “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
We learn how to overcome life's challenges by looking to Jesus. Even though we are saved, we sometimes forget the power of Jesus' cross. Jesus is the Beginning and the End, or Alpha and Omega (A and Z). He overcame because He saw the joy that lay ahead. We must understand that after this earthly life, we will be raised to higher levels, just as the Lord Jesus was raised to the right hand of God's throne.

Yn 19:30 “Basi Yesu alipokwisha kuipokea ile siki, alisema, Imekwisha. Akainama kichwa, akaisalimu roho yake.”
“Imekwisha” ilikuwa ni kilio cha ushindi na sio cha kushindwa, huzuni au maumivu. Hata sisi tunahitaji kupata uzoefu huu.
Waebrania 12:2 “tukimtazama Yesu, mwenye kuanzisha na mwenye kutimiza imani yetu; ambaye kwa ajili ya furaha iliyowekwa mbele yake aliustahimili msalaba na kuidharau aibu, naye ameketi mkono wa kuume wa kiti cha enzi cha Mungu.”
Tunajifunza jinsi ambavyo tukimtazama Yesu tunashinda changamoto za maisha. Ingawa tumeokoka kuna wakati tunasahau nguvu ya msalaba wa Yesu. Yesu ni Mwanzo na Mwisho au Alpha na Omega (A na Z). Yesu alishinda kwa vile aliona furaha iliyokuwa mbele yake. Lazima tutambue kwamba baada ya maisha haya ya duniani, tutainuliwa viwango vya juu kama Bwana Yesu alivyoinuliwa mpaka mkono wa kuume wa kiti cha enzi cha Mungu.
