We have received the blessing of complete forgiveness. Rom 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” We must no longer live in the shadow of judgment. When God looks at us, He sees us through the lens of Jesus’ blameless sacrifice. The Lord Jesus felt far from God when He was on the cross for us, crying out, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34). We, too, need to recognize when we are far from God.
Kazi aliyomaliza Kristo msalabani
Tumepokea baraka ya msamaha kamili. Rum 8:1 “Sasa, basi, hakuna hukumu ya adhabu juu yao walio katika Kristo Yesu.” Hatupaswi kuendelea kuishi katika uvuli wa hukumu tena. Mungu anapotutazama anatuona katika lensi ya dhabihu ya Yesu ambayo haina lawama yoyote. Bwana Yesu alihisi kuwa mbali na Mungu pale alipokuwa msalabani kwa ajili yetu ambapo alisema, “Mungu wangu, Mungu wangu, mbona umeniacha.” (Mk 15:34). Hata sisi tunatakiwa kutambua wakati tunapokuwa mbali na Mungu.
