Believing that prayer is the answer to everything is not entirely accurate. Some people believe that fasting and praying will bring them financial success. Usually, when you pray and fast, you draw closer to God and hear God more easily. You will not be given money easily, but you will hear God more easily. You will discover where God wants you to get money from or who has your blessings. Prayer will not cause you to pick up money on the road that others have sought and dropped. We also need to find quiet time in prayer and turn off the phone when we pray. PRAYER DOES NOT DO EVERYTHING, BUT PRAYER IS THE BEGINNING OF EVERYTHING. Not everything will be done by praying. But you will also not succeed in anything if you do not start with prayer. There are living examples in the Bible. God works with humans. For example, He did not save Cornelius himself but directed him to Peter to be preached to. But he also used Ananias (just a believer) to pray for Paul when he met Jesus on the road. We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
