Now that we have reached this point, the world has entered the church. I will share with you how we in Korogwe have begun to change, even in terms of celebrations. There are many celebrations we participate in that we were forbidden in the Word of God, and that is why we do not see God doing great things in our lives. We were supposed to bring about change, but now the world is changing us. We have been taught to pray for the kingdom of God to come to this earth and for God's will to be done here on earth as it is done in Heaven. Our job is to pray for the world to be as Jesus wants it to be and not just for the church. That is why we strive to meet with all Christian and Muslim religious leaders. God has given us something that touches the whole community. The problem we have had for a long time is that we only think spiritually that people should receive Jesus, come to church, and become believers. We need to think beyond that. We must equip people to rule the world and become God’s spokesmen for the world.
After praying for the kingdom of God and God’s will, we should then ask God to give us our daily bread. How many times have you rushed to ask for your daily bread instead of starting to lift God first? We need to see the beauty of Jesus as the apostle Paul saw it, so that he saw all other things as dung. Philippians 3:8 “Moreover, I count all things loss for the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as dung that I may gain Christ.” If you do not see the beauty of Jesus, you will be running after the world because you have not realized what you have in your life. Ask God to help you identify your needs today so that you do not find yourself asking for next year’s needs. Ask God’s Spirit to guide you to identify your needs today. You may be discouraged that God has not answered you, and it is you who are wrong in asking for things that are not your needs.

Sasa tulikofikia, dunia imeingia kanisani. Nitawapa shuhuda namna ambavyo sisi Korogwe tumeanza kubadilika mpaka masuala ya sherehe. Kuna sherehe nyingi tunashiriki ambazo tulikatazwa katika Neno la Mungu na ndiyo maana hatumuoni Mungu akitenda mambo makuu katika maisha yetu. Sisi ndio tulitakiwa kuleta mabadiliko lakini sasa dunia ndiyo inatubadilisha sisi. Tumefundishwa kuomba kwamba ufalme wa Mungu uje hapa duniani na mapenzi ya Mungu yafanyike hapa duniani kama yanavyofanyika Mbinguni. Kazi yetu ni kuomba dunia iwe kama Yesu anavyotaka iwe na sio kanisani tu. Ndiyo maana tunapenda kukutana na viongozi wote wa dini wa Kikristo na Kiislamu. Mungu ametupa kitu kinachogusa jamii yote. Tatizo tulilo nalo la muda mrefu ni kwamba tunawaza tu kiroho kwamba watu wampokee Yesu waje kanisani na kuwa waumini. Tunapaswa kuwaza zaidi ya hapo. Tuone watu wakiandaliwa kuitawala dunia. Wawe wasemaji wa Mungu kwa ajili ya dunia. Baada ya kuomba ufalme wa Mungu na mapenzi ya Mungu ndipo tunatakiwa kuomba Mungu atupe riziki zetu za leo (utupe leo riziki yetu). Mara ngapi ulikimbilia kuomba riziki zako badala ya kuanza kumuinua kwanza Mungu? Tunatakiwa kuuona uzuri wa Yesu kama mtume Paulo alivyouona mpaka akaona mambo mengine ni kama mavi. Wafilipi 3:8 “Naam, zaidi ya hayo, nayahesabu mambo yote kuwa hasara kwa ajili ya uzuri usio na kiasi wa kumjua Kristo Yesu, Bwana wangu; ambaye kwa ajili yake nimepata hasara ya mambo yote nikiyahesabu kuwa kama mavi ili nipate Kristo.” Usipoona uzuri wa Yesu utakuwa unakimbizana na dunia kwa sababu hujatambua una kitu gani katika maisha yako. Muombe Mungu akusaidie kutambua mahitaji yako ya leo ili usije ukajikuta unaomba mahitaji ya mwaka ujao. Muombe Roho wa Mungu akuongoze kutambua mahitaji yako ya leo. Unaweza kukata tamaa kwamba Mungu hajakujibu na kumbe ni wewe umekosea kwa kuomba vitu ambavyo sio mahitaji yako.
