Business or Project Startup No. 4: Commit It to God (Uanzishaji wa shughuli au mradi Na 4: Ikabidhi kwa Mungu)
Commit your business to God. Let God see that everything you have is His. See yourself as someone who is only taking care of His property. Realize that you did not come to this world to eat but to do His work. We seek food so that we may have the strength to serve God. The people of the world sacrifice people so that they may prosper. Although we do not sacrifice our brothers, we are required to promise God that if He blesses us, we will give Him offerings and tithes. Tithes were not given as a law but as a promise to God. Gen. 28:20-22 “Then Jacob vowed a vow, saying, ‘If God is with me and watches over me on this journey that I am taking, and gives me food to eat and clothing to wear, so that I return safely to my father’s house, then the Lord will be my God. And this stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be God’s house; and of all that You give me I will surely give you a tenth.” Start with a promise to God instead of waiting for money to come, and then ask yourself how much tithe you should give. Have the attitude that if you fail, it is God who will be blamed and not you. So connect your work with God.

Mkabidhi Mungu shughuli yako iwe ya Kwake. Mungu aone kwamba kila ulicho nacho ni mali Yake. Ujione kama unayemtunzia tu mali Zake. Ujitambue kwamba hukuja hapa duniani ili ule bali kwa ajili ya kufanya kazi Yake. Tunatafuta chakula ili tuwe na nguvu za kumtumikia Mungu. Watu wa dunia wanatoa kafara watu ndipo wafanikiwe. Ingawa sisi hatutoi kafara ndugu zetu, tunatakiwa kumuahidi Mungu kwamba akitubariki tutamtolea sadaka na zaka. Zaka haikutolewa kama sheria bali kama ahadi kwa Mungu. Mwa 28:20-22 “Yakobo akaweka nadhiri akisema, Mungu akiwa pamoja nami, akinilinda katika njia niiendeayo, na kunipa chakula nile, na nguo nivae; nami nikirudi kwa amani nyumbani kwa baba yangu, ndipo Bwana atakuwa Mungu wangu. Na jiwe hili nililolisimamisha kama nguzo litakuwa nyumba ya Mungu; na katika kila utakalonipa hakika nitakutolea wewe sehemu ya kumi.” Anza na ahadi kwa Mungu badala ya kusubiri upate pesa ndipo ujiulize unatakiwa kutoa zaka kiasi gani. Uwe na mtazamo kwamba usipofanikiwa ni Mungu atatukanwa na sio wewe. Hivyo iunganishe kazi yako na Mungu.
