THE POWER OF GRACE
(We are never alone)
Main Texts: Philippians 4:23; Revelation 22:21
The question is: What can the grace of God do in our lives?
1. THE GRACE OF CHRIST CAN BE WITH US WHEREVER WE ARE
Philippians 4:23: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.”
Revelation 22:21: “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all. Amen.”
The grace of Christ is not limited by our location or circumstances. Whether we are at home, at work, in ministry, in prosperity, or in difficulty, the grace of Christ can be with us.
We are never alone when God's grace is with us!
When grace is with us, we can face tomorrow with confidence.
2. THE GRACE OF GOD ENABLES US TO ACHIEVE GREAT RESULTS
2 Corinthians 6:1: “We then, as workers together with Him, plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.”
God gives us grace for a purpose. Grace is not given merely for us to admire; grace must be utilized.
We must not receive God's grace in vain.
When God gives us an opportunity, we must act. When God gives us a gift, we must develop it. When God opens a door, we must walk through it.
3. THE GRACE OF GOD IS SUFFICIENT IN OUR WEAKNESS
2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
There are moments when we feel weak, discouraged, overwhelmed, or inadequate. But our weakness does not disqualify us from God's purpose.
Paul discovered that God's grace was sufficient even when his circumstances did not immediately change.
Our weakness can become the place where God's strength is revealed.
Therefore, we do not have to give up because we feel weak. We do not have to abandon our calling because we face difficulties.
4. THE GRACE OF GOD HELPS US IN TIMES OF NEED
Hebrews 4:16: “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
God knows that we will have moments of need. He knows that there will be seasons when we need direction, provision, strength, protection, wisdom, healing, encouragement, and breakthrough.
There is grace for every season, grace for every battle, and grace for every need!
5. THE GRACE OF GOD ENABLES US TO SPEAK WORDS OF WISDOM AND BLESSING
Colossians 4:6: “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
Grace should not only be seen in what we receive from God; grace should also be heard in the way we speak to others.
Our words can build or destroy. They can encourage or discourage. They can heal or wound.
6. GREAT GRACE COMES UPON US AS WE PREACH CHRIST
Acts 4:33: “And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.”
The early church did not merely talk about Jesus; they boldly testified about the risen Christ, and great grace was upon them.
When we make Christ the center of our message, our ministry, our family, and our lives, we position ourselves to experience His grace.
We need great grace to preach.
Where there is a great assignment, there is great grace available from God.
