STEPS TO BREAKING THE LIMITS

STEPS TO BREAKING THE LIMITS

(After deliverance comes movement)

We must move from frustration to revelation, from revelation to prayer, from prayer to repentance, from repentance to obedience, and from breakthrough to maintaining our freedom.

1 John 3:8 declares, "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."

1. IDENTIFY THE ROOT

Don't only look at the fruit—ask God to reveal the root!

Ask God to expose whatever needs to be addressed—wrong choices, disobedience, unforgiveness, fear, unhealthy relationships, or anything else that may be hindering your progress.

The Holy Spirit is our helper and guide. Some problems continue because we keep treating the symptoms while ignoring the root.

2. PRAY WITH INTENSITY

Jesus taught His disciples that they “always ought to pray and not lose heart.” — Luke 18:1

There is a difference between praying once and persevering in prayer.

Don't give up because the answer has not come immediately!

3. REPENT AND RENOUNCE

There are times when breakthrough begins with repentance.

Repentance is not weakness. Repentance is a pathway to freedom!

Leviticus 26:40 speaks about confession of iniquity and the iniquity of previous generations.

We can say: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”

Joshua 24:15.

4. INVOKE THE BLOOD AND FIRE OF JESUS

Revelation 12:11 says: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”

The blood of Jesus reminds us that Christ has paid the price for our redemption.

We overcome through Christ, His blood, His Word, and our testimony.

5. WALK IN OBEDIENCE

BREAKTHROUGH IS NOT THE END OF THE JOURNEY. After deliverance comes movement.

Israel was delivered from Egypt, but they still had to walk toward the Promised Land.

Don't ask God for a new season while continuing to live according to the old season.

6. GUARD YOUR PROGRESS

Galatians 5:1 says: “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”

Getting free is one thing. Staying free is another.
