No. 1. It is not God’s plan for us to serve Him without the Holy Spirit

Years ago, when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we were very concerned about being filled with the Holy Spirit after believing in Jesus. Even the Lord Jesus did not allow His disciples to serve Him without being filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 24:49 “And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry ye in the city, until ye be endued with power from on high.”
The Lord Jesus did not want His disciples to be satisfied that He had taught them for three and a half years, so it was not enough without the power of the Holy Spirit. He told them not to return to their homes but to wait in Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. The Lord Jesus knew clearly that His disciples would not be able to overcome Satan without the power of the Holy Spirit. Satan is older than any human being and knows about Heaven than any of us. So the Holy Spirit helps us know Heaven even before we get there.
Acts 1:4 “And when he was come together with them, he charged them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which ye have heard of me.” How many ministers do we have today who have only studied theology in Bible schools, but do not know the Holy Ghost? These ministers are no different from Apollos, who preached much but did not know the baptism of Jesus, nor had he received the Holy Ghost. Acts 18:24-26 “24 Then came a certain Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and being fervent in spirit, he spake and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus: knowing only the baptism of John. 26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: and when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of the Lord more perfectly.” Acts 19:1-3 “1 Now it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples there, 2 he asked them, Did ye receive the Holy Ghost when ye believed? And they said unto him, No; we have not so much as heard whether there be a Holy Ghost. 3 And he asked them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.”
It is not God's plan for you to serve Him in your strength. Let us not focus on doctrine alone and forget the importance of walking with the Holy Spirit and being led by God. The sons of God are the ones who are led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.” The Spirit of God helps us know what the devil has planned for our lives and our ministry.

ya zamani wakati tunampokea Yesu kama Bwana na Mwokozi wetu, tulijali
sana kujazwa Roho Mtakatifu baada ya kumwamini Yesu. Hata Bwana Yesu
hakuruhusu wanafunzi wake wamtumikie bila kujazwa Roho Mtakatifu.
Luka 24:49 “Na tazama, nawaletea juu yenu ahadi ya Baba yangu;
lakini kaeni humu mjini, hata mvikwe uwezo utokao juu.”
Bwana
Yesu hakutaka wanafunzi wake waridhike kwamba amewafundisha kwa miaka
mitatu na nusu hivyo inatosha bila uwezo wa Roho Mtakatifu.
Aliwaambia wasirudi nyumbani kwao bali wasubiri Yerusalemu hadi
watakapovikwa uwezo utakao juu. Bwana Yesu alijua wazi kwamba
wanafunzi wake hawataweza kumshinda shetani bila kuwa na nguvu za
Roho Mtakatifu. Shetani ana umri mkubwa kuliko mwanadamu yeyote na
anapajua mbinguni kuliko sisi wote. Hivyo Roho Mtakatifu anatusaidia
kujua mbinguni hata kabla hatujafika huko.
Mdo 1:4 “Hata alipokuwa amekutana nao aliwaagiza wasitoke Yerusalemu, bali waingoje ahadi ya Baba, ambayo mlisikia habari zake kwangu.” Tuna watumishi wangapi leo ambao wamesoma tu theolojia kwenye vyuo vya Biblia lakini hawamjui Roho Mtakatifu. Watumishi hawa hawana tofauti na Apolo aliyekuwa anahubiri sana lakini hajua ubatizo wa Yesu wala hajampokea Roho Mtakatifu. Mdo 18:24-26 “24 Basi Myahudi mmoja, jina lake Apolo, mzalia wa Iskanderia, mtu wa elimu, akafika Efeso; naye alikuwa hodari katika maandiko. 25 Mtu huyo alikuwa amefundishwa njia ya Bwana; na kwa kuwa roho yake ilikuwa ikimwaka, alianza kunena na kufundisha kwa usahihi habari za Yesu; naye alijua ubatizo wa Yohana tu. 26 Akaanza kunena kwa ujasiri katika sinagogi; hata Prisila na Akila walipomsikia wakamchukua kwao, wakamweleza njia ya Bwana kwa usahihi zaidi.” Mdo 19:1-3 “1 Ikawa, Apolo alipokuwa Korintho, Paulo, akiisha kupita kati ya nchi za juu, akafika Efeso; akakutana na wanafunzi kadha wa kadha huko; 2 akawauliza, Je! Mlipokea Roho Mtakatifu mlipoamini? Wakamjibu, La, hata kusikia kwamba kuna Roho Mtakatifu hatukusikia. 3 Akawauliza, Basi mlibatizwa kwa ubatizo gani? Wakasema, Kwa ubatizo wa Yohana.”
Sio mpango wa Mungu umtumikie kwa nguvu zako mwenyewe. Tusikazie mafundisho peke yake na kusahau umuhimu kutembea na Roho Mtakatifu na kuongozwa na Mungu. Wanaoongozwa na Roho wa Mungu ndio wana wa Mungu. Warumi 8:14 “Kwa kuwa wote wanaoongozwa na Roho wa Mungu, hao ndio wana wa Mungu.” Roho wa Mungu anatusaidia kujua shetani amepanga nini kuhusu maisha yetu na utumishi wetu.
