When Jesus said, “It is finished”, He was declaring the end of all animal sacrifices, because the ultimate Sacrifice had finally been made!
If it were our time, it would not be easy to get forgiveness because animals are sold at a high price. Some people would not be able to afford to buy them.
Jesus was communicating that the work He came for was accomplished. We should be careful when serving people. We should not be a burden to them by asking them to pay for the things that the Lord Jesus paid for on the cross.

Yesu aliposema “Imekwisha”, alikuwa akitangaza mwisho wa dhabihu zote za wanyama, kwa sababu Dhabihu ya mwisho ilikuwa imetolewa!
Ingekuwa wakati wetu, isingekuwa rahisi kupata msamaha kwa sababu wanyama wanauzwa ghali. Baadhi ya watu wasingeweza kumudu kununua.
Yesu alikuwa anatuambia kwamba kazi iliyomleta duniani imekamilika. Tunapaswa kuwa waangalifu tunapohudumia watu. Tusiwe mzigo kwao kwa kuwataka walipie vitu ambavyo Bwana Yesu alishavilipia pale msalabani.
