WHY DO YOU FAIL TO USE YOUR MIND TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE? (KWANINI UNASHINDWA KUTUMIA AKILI YAKO KUBADILI MAISHA YAKO?)

1. You are afraid of change – You are used to your bad situation, like Gideon was. God calls him a hero, but he continues to defend his weakness. Judges 6:12-15 “12 The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.” 13 Gideon said to him, “Oh my Lord, if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are his wonderful works that our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now he has abandoned us and handed us over to the Midianites.” 14 The Lord looked at him and said, “Go in this your might and save Israel from the hand of Midian. Am I not sending you?” 15 He said to him, “Oh my Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my family is the poorest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”

2. You do not know and do not use the power of your mind – Although you know God spiritually, you do not have the mind of Christ. Your perspective is worldly. 1 Corinthians 2:16 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”

3. You do not accept criticism – When criticized, you do not accept your shortcomings but defend yourself and shift the blame to others. When Peter gave an idea that was contrary to Jesus’ mission on earth, the Lord Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan,” in front of his fellow disciples, and I have not read a scripture that shows that he was annoyed. Mark 8:33 “Then he turned and looked at his disciples and rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind me, Satan; for you do not savour the things that are of God, but those that are of men.”

4. You compare yourself to others – You don’t know that you are called for a specific purpose. As a result, you look down on yourself when you see others surpassing you. Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works together for good to those who love him, to those who are called according to his purpose.”

5. You don’t have time to meditate on good things – Even though you do other spiritual activities, such as praying and praising God, you don’t have time to meditate. You need to meditate on God’s Word until it becomes a part of your life. Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way successful, and then you will have success.”

1.Una hofu ya mabadiliko – Umezoea hali yako mbaya kama alivyokuwa Gideoni. Mungu anamuita shujaa lakini yeye anaendelea kutetea udhaifu wake. Amu 6:12-15 “12 Malaika wa Bwana akamtokea, akamwambia, Bwana yu pamoja nawe, Ee shujaa. 13 Gideoni akamwambia, Ee Bwana wangu, ikiwa Bwana yu pamoja nasi, mbona mambo haya yote yametupata? Yako wapi matendo yake ya ajabu, waliyotuhadithia baba zetu, wakisema, Je! Siye Bwana, aliyetuleta huku kutoka Misri? Ila sasa ametutupa, naye ametutia katika mikono ya Midiani. 14 Bwana akamtazama, akasema, Enenda kwa uwezo wako huu, ukawaokoe Israeli na mkono wa Midiani. Je! Si mimi ninayekutuma? 15 Akamwambia, Ee Bwana, nitawaokoa Israeli kwa jinsi gani? Tazama, jamaa zangu ndio walio maskini sana katika Manase, na mimi ndimi niliye mdogo katika nyumba ya baba yangu.”

2.Hujui na hutumii uwezo wa akili yako – Ingawa unamjua Mungu kiroho, huna nia ya Kristo.

Mtazamo wako ni wa kidunia. 1 Wakorintho 2:16 “Maana, Ni nani aliyeifahamu nia ya Bwana, amwelimishe? Lakini sisi tunayo nia ya Kristo.”

3.Hukubali kukosolewa – Unapokosolewa hukubali mapungufu yako bali unajitetea na kuhamishia lawama kwa wengine. Petro alipotoa wazo ambalo lilikuwa kinyume na utume wa Yesu duniani, Bwana Yesu alimwambia, “nenda nyuma yangu shetani” tena akiwa na wanafunzi wenzake na sijasoma andiko linaloonyesha kwamba alimlaumu Bwana Yesu. Marko 8:33 “Akageuka, akawatazama wanafunzi wake, akamkemea Petro, akasema, Nenda nyuma yangu, Shetani; maana huyawazi yaliyo ya Mungu, bali ya wanadamu.”

4.Unajilinganisha na wengine – Hujui umeitwa kwa kusudi maalum. Matokeo yake unajidharau unapoona wengine wamekuzidi. Warumi 8:28 “Nasi twajua ya kuwa katika mambo yote Mungu hufanya kazi pamoja na wale wampendao katika kuwapatia mema, yaani, wale walioitwa kwa kusudi lake.”

5.Huna muda wa kutafakari mambo mazuri – Ingawa unafanya huduma zingine za kiroho kama vile kuomba na kumsifu Mungu, huna muda wa kutafakari. Unatakiwa kutafakari Neno la Mungu mpaka liwe sehemu ya maisha yako. Yoshua 1:8 “Kitabu hiki cha torati kisiondoke kinywani mwako, bali yatafakari maneno yake mchana na usiku, upate kuangalia kutenda sawasawa na maneno yote yaliyoandikwa humo; maana ndipo utakapoifanikisha njia yako, kisha ndipo utakapositawi sana.”
