THE POWER OF CHOICE
1. No other creature has been given the capacity and freedom to choose except human beings.
Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.”
We have been given the power to choose our destiny.
What we choose today will impact future generations.
2. What decisions have you and your household made regarding life?
Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
3. If we do not make the right choices, we will not enjoy our lives, even if we have money.
Isaiah 7:15 “He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.”
4. The illiterate of today are not those who cannot read or write...
The illiterate of today are not those who can’t read or write but those who cannot LEARN, UNLEARN, and RELEARN.
There are many negative things we have accepted as truth based on unconscious beliefs, assumptions, practices, and values.
We also have things we need to learn in a new way (to stay updated).

1. Help us to make right choices – choosing life for my generation
2. Help us to unlearn negative influences from my neighborhood.
