When a husband wants to discipline his child and his wife says, “Leave him alone,” it raises questions. He wonders if it may not be his child. Why doesn't he say, Leave our child?
One day, a husband said to his wife, “I would like to ask for your forgiveness today. I have a child with that woman.” The wife said, "I have forgiven you, my husband." I ask that today be our day to forgive each other. I ask that you forgive me, too, because this second child is not yours. The husband got angry with his wife and said, “What are you saying?”

Mume anapotaka kumuadabisha mtoto halafu mke wake anasema, “Muache mwanangu,” inaleta maswali. Anajiuliza isije ikawa sio mwanae kweli. Kwanini hasemi muache mtoto wetu?
Siku moja mume alimwambia mkewe, “Naomba leo nikuombe msamaha. Nimezaa mtoto na yule mama fulani.” Mke akamwambia nimekusamehe mume wangu. Naomba leo iwe siku yetu ya kusameheana. Naomba na mimi unisamehe kwa vile huyu mtoto wa pili sio wa kwako. Mume akamkasirikia mkewe na kusema, “Unasemaje?”
