ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS FOR YOUR SUCCESS

When your situation looks completely impossible, you need a prophetic word for your breakthrough.
2 Kings 7:1 “By this time tomorrow, a measure of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”
The problem was not God's ability to provide the breakthrough. The question was whether people would believe the word, take action, and position themselves to receive what God had announced.
Element 1. RECEIVE THE PROPHETIC WORD FOR YOUR BREAKTHROUGH
2 Kings 7:1 “By this time tomorrow, a measure of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”
Elisha declared that abundance was coming.
Never allow your circumstances to cancel God's promise.
The Bible says: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void.” — Isaiah 55:11
Element 2. BELIEVE THE WORD YOU HAVE RECEIVED
The king's officer heard the prophetic word but responded with unbelief:
2 Kings 7:2 “Look, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?”
He was standing near the word but could not believe the word.
Proximity to prophecy does not guarantee participation in the fulfillment of prophecy.
You can hear the word every Sunday and still remain unchanged.
Element 3. MAKE TOUGH DECISIONS
2 Kings 7:3–4
Four lepers were sitting outside the city gate. They had reached a critical point.
Sometimes your breakthrough begins when you become tired of remaining where you are.
Sometimes you must make a difficult decision to enter a new season.
You cannot keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.
There is a future beyond your current position.
Element 4. TAKE RISKS OF FAITH
2 Kings 7:5–7
The lepers rose and went toward the Syrian camp.
They did not know what would happen. But when they moved, God moved.
Verse 6 says:
“For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots and horses—the noise of a great army.”
The lepers thought they were walking alone. But God was walking with them.
Joshua 1:9 says: “Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid.”
Sometimes the miracle is on the other side of your obedience.
Element 5. UTILIZE AND SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS
2 Kings 7:8–11
The lepers entered the camp and discovered that the enemy had abandoned everything. They ate and gathered possessions.
But then they said: “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent.”
God may bless you so that you can become a blessing to others.
Genesis 12:2: “I will bless you... and you shall be a blessing.”
Don't become a warehouse of blessings. Become a channel.
Element 6. STEP OUT AND PLUNDER WHAT GOD HAS MADE AVAILABLE
2 Kings 7:16
The people eventually went out and plundered the Syrian camp.
The abundance was available, but they still had to go out and possess it.
Some blessings require participation.
James 2:17 says: “Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
Element 7. ADDRESS THE WORDS THAT HAVE BEEN PRONOUNCED OVER YOUR LIFE
2 Kings 7:17–20
The king had appointed the unbelieving officer to control the gate.
Elisha had already warned him: “You shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”
The officer saw the fulfillment of the prophecy but did not enjoy it.
Proverbs 18:21 says: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”
We must learn to speak God's Word over our lives.
